Long View House

Long View House is an internal remodelling and character-led rear extension designed to transform how the home looks, feels and functions.

The design reworks the principal ground-floor spaces, creating a more generous kitchen and dining area, improved internal flow and clearer views through the home towards the garden and surrounding countryside.

To the rear, an oak-framed glazed extension creates a distinctive architectural focal point and brings natural light deep into the living spaces. A generous rooflight introduces further daylight into the centre of the existing home, while new openings establish a stronger connection between the kitchen, dining areas and garden.

Warm character brick, weathered clay tiles, natural oak and pale limestone create a considered material palette that complements the original property and its rural setting.

The result is a carefully remodelled country home, with improved light, flow and everyday family living at the centre of the scheme.
