Emerald Architectural Design works with you through every step of the process. Once we have created a design you love, we will continue to work with you and act on your behalf when it comes to planning and building regulations and any other services you would like us to take care of. Please see below for more information on the services we provide.
Our skillset and approach ensures that functionality and aesthetics work. We are committed to listening, talking and discussing your aspirations to understand what it is you want to achieve and that is why we provide you with a number of services. We treat each job individually as we understand that all requirements are tailored to the individual and therefore you can expect a completely bespoke architect service when working with us.
We will oversee every stage of the process from conception to completion, from small scale residential refurbishments and extensions to large scale new builds, we design for you.
If planning permission is required (we will advise) we will submit your drawings to the local planning authority. Planning is complex and cannot be guaranteed, however, Emerald Architectural Design has years of experience and after having worked on a multitude of projects across the UK, in particular, the historic towns of Warwick and in the Peak District, our portfolio includes listed buildings, re-builds, residential extensions and much more. We take a specialist approach in ensuring we develop and design with our client's needs at heart, based not only on our existing knowledge but also through collaborating with planning officers in order to successfully deliver an approved project.
We will take care of the whole planning permission process and submit the appropriate drawings & documentation to compliment the application.
Visualising your project and being able to see how your proposal is going to look once complete, can be difficult. Part of our architectural services is the option for us to produce 3D models and visual renders that give you an insight into how your project will appear, before it’s been built. This also prevents those moments of doubt on completion, for how you would have rather your project looked.
Building Regulations approval is different from that of planning permission. The Building Regulations are not concerned with what you are building, but how it is built. They help ensure that all new buildings, conversions, renovations, and extensions are going to be safe, healthy and high performing. They will require a full set of plans, with elevations, cross-sections and if applicable structural calculations. We take care of this area for you and will advise and support each step as part of our architectural services.
Managing construction projects on-site can be challenging and time-consuming. As part of our architectural services, we will deal with all the paperwork, any issues that arise on-site and checking the quality of the contractor's work to ensure it follows the drawings, specifications and is to the standard you expect. We will deal with any issues that arise, before, during and once complete to aver you the hassle and stress.
You might want us to go that step further than site supervisions and manage your whole project. We understand that managing a project can be extremely time-consuming when juggling with everyday commitments. We take the time to understand your vision, preferences, and requirements and can manage your project to ensure these are followed every step of the process. Due to our experience and knowledge within many different areas of the building and design process as well as architecture, we can advise on and deal with contractors/designers, making them aware of the specifics, ensuring the finished project is both designed and built with minimal errors. We find creative solutions and maximise the space you have through experience and design.
Whether you want to be involved heavily in the entire process or take a seat back and let us take the lead, we will work with you. Our flexible approach means you can tailor our services to suit your budget.
